DEL VALLE, Texas — Del Valle ISD will be revealing the new Athletic Facility on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Del Valle High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Notable Austin-area elected officials will be in attendance including Austin Mayor Steve Adler.

The new 115,500 square foot Athletic Facility features a state-of-the-art weight room and an indoor practice 80-yard field. At the conclusion of the ceremony, there will be a guided tour of the Athletic Facility.

“The new facility will help promote our athletic department’s mission of encouraging and inspiring our students in their pursuit of excellence,” said Del Valle ISD Athletic Director Tawni Angel. “With the continued support of the Del Valle ISD School Board, Superintendent Dr. Kelly Crook and the Del Valle community, we can ensure that we are providing the resources that foster our students’ quest for excellence for many years to come.”

The building was designed by Stantec Architecture and the construction was completed by American Constructors.
