DEL VALLE, Texas — The Del Valle ISD Instruction Technology Team and Learning Enrichment Afterschool in Del Valle (LEAD) program host the STEAM Extravaganza on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Del Valle High School from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. to support an integrative approach to teaching, learning and preparing students science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) starts at 9 a.m. with the Regional Robotics Competition and concludes with the STEAM Extravaganza from 12 – 2 p.m.

The competition includes custom designs, robotics coding challenges, live robot challenges, student presentations, instant challenges and inventors space.

The STEAM Extravaganza includes Hot Wheels ramp challenges, DNA extraction, paper circuit project, Dot & Dash, Osmos & Scribble bots, digital painting animation and DVHS audio showcase.
