(DEL VALLE, Texas)— February is Career & Technical Education (CTE) Month and Del Valle ISD is highlighting one of the newest facilities in the District: The Career & Technical Innovation Space.
The 64,000+ square foot addition features a multitude of spaces that includes health science simulation lab, government & mock courtroom, construction & welding spaces, graphic design area with state-of-the-art print lab, cybersecurity space and more.
“The new Career and Technical Innovation Space at Del Valle High School house 17 of the 21 four-year programs of study at DVISD,” said CTE Director Norris Sebastian.
The CTE innovation space includes 21 programs of study in multiple unique classrooms for hands-on student learning experiences.
The newly renovated space in the existing building at Del Valle High School includes classrooms for culinary arts, auto tech and engineering.
