DEL VALLE, Texas — Students from the Netherlands will host a series of interactive workshops for students at Del Valle Elementary School on Friday, March 8, to discuss the future world development.
The workshops focus on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations discussing the challenges the world will face in the upcoming decades. These topics will address food supply, water management, energy, transportation, educations and equal opportunity.
“We are excited to have students from the Netherlands share their ideas and talk with our students about world issues,” said Del Valle Elementary Principal Jay Maines. “This will be a memorable experience for our students and staff.”
The group of Netherland students will present at The New Dutch Wave House for SXSW on Sunday, March 10, on 605 Sabine Street.
