DEL VALLE, Texas— The Del Valle ISD Child Development Center (CDC) was selected as a Semi-Finalist for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Award in Early Childhood Education for the third year in a row.
The CDC was one of 25 semi-finalists for having the highest quality early childhood education program in the state of Texas. The CDC received a $500 H-E-B gift card as part of H-E-B’s Community Investment Program.
“We’re extremely honored to have H-E-B recognize our efforts in providing the highest quality care and education to the youngest learners in the Del Valle ISD school family and community,” said CDC Director Scott Wille. “This award is meaningful as it symbolizes the achievements of staff.”
The CDC was the H-E-B Excellence in Education in Early Childhood Education finalist in 2013 and 2014.
