Here in Del Valle ISD we use multiple communication strategies to communicate both internally with our staff and externally with the greater community. Should you have any questions about the communication tools below please feel free to reach out to the Communications Department at 512-386-3070. Additional information about the district’s communication tools can be found below.
Stay Connected with SchoolMessenger!
Parents/Guardians – Parents/guardians who provide accurate emails at the start of each school year via student enrollment and re-enrollment will automatically be contacted with ENews. Phone numbers that are provided during enrollment using the District’s Skyward Family Access program are ONLY used for voice calls that regard the the health and safety of students. It is imperative that contact information is updated as it is changed.
Community/Staff– School Messenger offers a self sign-up feature for community and staff members who are interested in receiving email updates, voice calls that regard the the health and safety of students, and text messages. Visit the SchoolMessenger webpage and click “Sign Up Now” to get started.
Mobile App
The Del Valle ISD Mobile App is an additional communications tool that is used to share important messages, emergency broadcasts, and access some of the most requested general information (lunch menus, athletic schedules, etc.). The mobile app can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and the Android Market by searching “Del Valle ISD.” The mobile app is not currently available for BlackBerry users.
